Autonomously creating from his bedroom studio, Nobu Woods infuses smooth R&B vocals and melancholic melodies into various Alternative R&B/Hip-Hop rhythms. Born and raised in Queens, NY, the 23 year old singer-songwriter began producing for underground artists in 2017 before later making his debut as an artist in 2021. After releasing a few singles during the pandemic, the enigmatic artist independently released his first mixtape, IRIS, in the beginning of 2022. The tape flawlessly merges dark and spacey melodies with suave harmonies and modern day production, creating a unique story-like experience. Almost 2 years later, Nobu then released his long awaited mixtape, MIDNIGHT MOTIONS at the end of 2023, which had further solidified his name in the R&B scene. Currently, Nobu is disposed to displaying his many talents to the world while simultaneously creating a new era of R&B.
